One color. Natural character. A practical flooring alternative.
Resinart Finishes offers colored cement flooring for Nevada and Caribbean projects: a decorative self-leveling cement topping with an acrylic or polyaspartic protective finish. Explore a clean, continuous mineral look for your home, villa or business, with an epoxy-free assembly where site conditions and the approved system allow.

A solid-tone floor with the character of cement
Choose a color direction such as warm sand, soft gray, charcoal or an earthy neutral, then review a physical sample in your lighting. Manufacturer-approved integral pigments color the cement topping; a compatible clear finish protects the surface. Shade variation and subtle mottling are part of the mineral appearance. This is a single-color design direction rather than a promise of perfectly uniform painted color.
We specify a decorative topping approved to serve as the finished wear surface. Ordinary self-leveling underlayment intended to sit beneath other flooring is not an interchangeable substitute. Required movement joints remain visible; existing movement can reflect through the finish.
Two protective finish options
| Option | What we assess with you |
|---|---|
| Acrylic-sealed cement | A simpler protective finish to explore for a budget-conscious project. Selected UV-resistant acrylic sealers protect cement surfaces and can be renewed as wear develops. Traffic, spills, cleaning and any ponding water determine suitability; it is not a waterproofing system. |
| Polyaspartic-sealed cement | An aliphatic polyaspartic topcoat option for projects needing specified abrasion and wear resistance. We confirm compatibility with the topping and color, moisture limits, application conditions, traction and chemical exposure. A fast-curing topcoat does not make the entire floor a same-day project. |
A cost-conscious approach, priced for your actual floor
A restrained cement finish offers another way to plan a renovation without an elaborate decorative resin design. We compare preparation, repair, topping depth, color, sealer, access and maintenance in your proposal. Substantial leveling or moisture correction can change the economics. Caribbean freight and crew logistics are included in the assessment. We confirm the scope before quoting rather than advertise a one-price-fits-all rate or guaranteed savings.
Preparation and moisture control come first
The process starts with a sound substrate, mechanical preparation, moisture testing and a compatible primer. We assess cracks, contamination, existing finishes, floor levels and transitions. Structural movement, active leaks and drainage problems require the right corrective work before a decorative finish is considered.
Want an epoxy-free floor? Tell us at the start. We verify every layer, including primer, repairs and any moisture treatment. Some cement topping systems require epoxy primers, and some damp slabs need treatments that may conflict with this requirement. We confirm an approved epoxy-free assembly before promising it. A clear topcoat does not solve moisture coming up through concrete.
Designed around Nevada and Caribbean conditions
Nevada: Las Vegas and Henderson homeowners and businesses can start with floor photos and a ZIP code. Other Nevada locations are reviewed for project scope and travel. Heat, dry air and slab temperature affect placement and finishing plans.
USVI and Caribbean: Tell us your island, building access, approximate area and any history of damp concrete. We evaluate moisture, climate, material availability, freight and installation logistics before confirming the project. Interior rooms and villas are the starting point; outdoor terraces, wet areas, garages and sloped surfaces require a separately approved system for that use. An exterior-rated sealer alone does not make an interior cement topping suitable outdoors.
Know your finish before installation
Approve the color, sheen and texture from a sample. Cement may show natural variation and fine cracking; it is not guaranteed crack-free. UV-resistant finishes help retain their own appearance but do not make every layer or pigment immune to change. No floor is stain-proof or slip-proof. We discuss spill cleanup, appropriate cleaners, mats, furniture protection and future resealing, plus separate timing for foot traffic, furniture and full use.
Start your colored cement flooring project
Send “CEMENT FLOOR” with your city or island, approximate square footage, floor photos, preferred color, budget range and timing. Mention moisture concerns, indoor or outdoor exposure, and whether avoiding epoxy in every layer is essential.

Technical background
Our planning draws on manufacturer guidance for cement toppings and substrate requirements, compatible primers, acrylic sealers and polyaspartic topcoats. Product references explain selection principles, not a commitment to a particular brand or an approved combination for every site. Final specifications follow current manufacturer requirements.
