Considering epoxy countertops in Las Vegas or Henderson? Start with the condition of your existing surfaces, how you use your kitchen and the finish you want. Resinart Finishes creates custom countertop and backsplash designs; a useful estimate begins with details about your actual space.
What to send for a countertop estimate
- Wide photos of the kitchen, plus close-ups of edges, seams, sink openings and damaged areas.
- The length and depth of each countertop section, including islands and any backsplash you want included.
- Your ZIP code, preferred timeline and an approximate project budget.
- Two or three reference images or color ideas, with a note about what you like in each.
Photos and measurements help us discuss scope. Final suitability, preparation and pricing depend on a project review. Mention loose areas, cracks, water damage or previous coatings rather than covering them up in photos.
Choose a finish that fits the whole room
Pearl white and subtle stone-inspired movement can work with many cabinet colors. Deeper navy, charcoal and metallic accents create a stronger focal point. Consider your flooring, cabinet finish, hardware and lighting together. A dramatic island can be balanced by quieter perimeter counters or a simpler backsplash.
Discuss samples in your own lighting when possible. A reference photo communicates a direction, but a hand-created resin pattern will have its own movement. Ask which details can be controlled and where natural variation is part of the design.
What affects the cost?
Surface area is only one part of a countertop project. Existing surface condition, repairs, preparation, edge details, sink openings, backsplash height, access and design complexity can all affect the scope. Ask for an estimate that explains what preparation, finishing and installation are included, along with any exclusions.
Questions to ask before installation
- Is my existing countertop suitable, and what preparation or repairs will it need?
- When can I use the sink, place appliances back and resume normal kitchen use?
- What are the selected coating system’s limits for heat, scratching, cleaning products and food contact?
- Who handles plumbing, appliance movement and any work outside the countertop scope?
Installation time and full cure time are different. Get written care and return-to-use instructions for the specific system selected for your project. Do not assume every resin or topcoat has the same performance limits.
Connect your countertop with a statement wall
If you are updating an open-plan space, a custom epoxy accent wall can carry a related color into the living or dining area. Repeating one accent color often gives the room a more cohesive feel without matching every surface.
